Without question, it's the BEST book ever published on any country's individual vinyl releases. Nothing I've seen in 36 years has rivaled it. If you're a collector of worldwide releases on Elvis this is a MUST as it has everything a REAL collector would want - information on ALL label variations, all cover variations, etc etc with pictures IN COLOR of everything! I just wish every country could publish something even close to this for their own vinyl Elvis discography. BUT that's not all it contains! It also pictures, etc of all Italian 8 tracks; films; books; all kinds of memorabilia, etc - all from Italy. Almost 300 pages with FULL COLOR pictures and a gorgeous layout! STANDING ROOM ONLY was the name of an LP that never was issued by RCA in 1972 probably because of the concerts in Madison Square Garden on June the same year. It would have been live and studio recordings from February and March of that year. The album was even advertised on the cover of the "An American Trilogy" single for summer release. This 2 CD recreation will contain Las Vegas masters from February of 1972 and the masters and outtakes from the March 1972 sessions at RCA. The FTD cover artwork is not known yet although the ORIGINAL design was supposed to be the same as the MADISON SQUARE GARDEN LP cover. According to an Ernst Jorgensen's interview with us (WORLDWIDE ELVIS) in February and March of 1998 - "Remember...the STANDING ROOM ONLY album was, in the brief period that it existed, an album of "live" recordings from the April 1972 tour. The intention was to release a "live" album from the four shows that month.
