This contains songs from the Las Vegas Hilton in January and February, 1972. RCA did not record entire shows, and several of the new songs Elvis had added to his shows were only recorded once. The consequence is that the main body of the CD - the RCA recordings - feature several previously released versions. Soundboard (informal) recordings of other song performances during the envagement were added to the end of the disc in order to make this as representative as possible of Elvis' repertoire at that time.

Please note that this disc is a DVD-A and not a CD. It will not play on any CD player but will only play on DVD players and Roms. For optimum sound, it should play on DVD-A players but since most people do not have this it will play as dolby digital.
FINALLY, for the first time ever, an Elvis concert from the 50ıs with sound.
This is an incredible DVD! Released by Joseph Pirzada earlier this year with a beautiful book, he sold this package out in no time. Now, for those who never were fortunate enough to buy the DVD, he has just reissued it again but with NO book although it does come with a 16 page booklet. This is a totally UNRELEASED FILM - WITH SOUND of Elvis performing six songs, including "Heartbreak Hotel"; "Donıt Be Cruel" and "Long Tall Sally" among others, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Also, there is unseen footage containing backstage, the evening show, parade, Tupelo 57 and many more. Please note that the DVD contains specially licensed footage by Fox. There is also a special DVD Audio section with twenty one songs of the two shows from Tupelo 1956 concerts. There has NEVER ever been released before an Elvis 50's concert WITH SOUND!

(NOTE: Most of the songs on this CD have been remastered / remixed and are different than what has been released !). BMG China has done it again and so far has been the only country that has really and truly decided to promote the 30th Anniversary of Elvis' passing. The history behind this SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL NOT FOR SALE EDITION CD is VERY, VERY UNUSUAL from what we can gather from our sources. Apparently BMG CHINA had scheduled a special 2 CD set for the 30TH called 30 YEARS AFTER - FRESH AND NEW (NOTE: this is the correct title WITHOUT "STILL" included!). It was to contain 60 tracks with all of them REMASTERED and REMIXED and with possibly at least half of them either alternate takes or mastered so different that they sound like different takes. Unfortunately we do not know what the original song listings were but we were able to obtain a pre release sheet on this special promo version. As of this posting it is known that some (if not all of the 25 on this CD) fall into the "different" category. Anyway, apparently BMG U.S. decided to withdraw permission for the regular CD's release but some copies of the promo DID get out. We do NOT have copies right now but we are working hard at getting a few. This may just be the RAREST Elvis promo CD EVER!!!

This DELUXE 272 page hardbound coffee table book from Norway is, without question, one of the best books ever to be printed on Elvis! It deals exclusively with the concerts from '69 on and does what other similar books just tried to do! There is no comparison with this and another recent "supposedly complete" book! Not only does Stein reproduce reviews of all or most of the shows from various press accounts but he lists each concert, the jumpsuit Elvis wore, the attendance at each show, a detailed list of musicians and backing singers PLUS not only a list of the "normal" songs that Elvis performed during each tour but also a list of unusual ones he sang including songs that he might have only sung one line of!!! I can't begin to tell you what an invaluable book this is if you're into this period. And, if you're into pictures, there are over 200 mostly FULL COLOR photos showing the various jumpsuits he wore! An incredible book! 100% written in English!
