First of all, as everyone can see, this may be the most attractive promotional CD package that BMG China has released! Well, actually it's not out yet but will be in early December. It is interesting because, since the Chinese don't celebrate Christmas but do enjoy gospel songs, they have titled this a CHRISTMAS SPECIAL! Very odd but who cares as it's a REAL BEAUTY! Rumors are that there are some alternate takes and outtakes on this although it is not known how many and if they have already been issued. Let us know NOW if you would like a copy as we are only getting a handfull. Right now the price is not known.

This is the first ever BMG licensed CD from Mongolia (Khan Records) and it is INCREDIBLY rare for a few reasons. First, Mongolia is a Communist country that long ago banned rock n roll and anyone even caught with a rock n roll record (CD) could possibly be fined heavily or even jailed or WORSE! Crazy but true. Anyway, finally the Khan Record label got permission , just this year, from BMG to issue this legal LIMITED CD which may in fact turn out to be the ONLY CD on Elvis released there but time will tell. Please also note that it is illegal to send any of these CD's out of Mongolia. For this reason this CD is one of the rarest ever on Elvis. We can't go into details as to how we managed to get FOUR of them (they are on the way to us now) but just be glad we could. It is suggested that you e mail us NOW so we can put one of these aside for you. After they are sold this will be taken off the site.

This DELUXE 272 page hardbound coffee table book from Norway is, without question, one of the best books ever to be printed on Elvis! It deals exclusively with the concerts from '69 on and does what other similar books just tried to do! There is no comparison with this and another recent "supposedly complete" book! Not only does Stein reproduce reviews of all or most of the shows from various press accounts but he lists each concert, the jumpsuit Elvis wore, the attendance at each show, a detailed list of musicians and backing singers PLUS not only a list of the "normal" songs that Elvis performed during each tour but also a list of unusual ones he sang including songs that he might have only sung one line of!!! I can't begin to tell you what an invaluable book this is if you're into this period. And, if you're into pictures, there are over 200 mostly FULL COLOR photos showing the various jumpsuits he wore! An incredible book! 100% written in English!
